Highlights of his trip to the Netherlands

Harun had—according to his own words—an amazing week in the Netherlands. He was impressed by the city’s cycling culture, which inspired him to rent a bike and explore the area like a true local. Another highlight was trying traditional Dutch dishes (don’t miss the Dutch taste test featured on our Instagram page!). However, he did encounter one challenge: the ever-changing weather.

Back home, I rely on weather apps, but I quickly learned they’re not very helpful in the Netherlands!

His role at Human Digital

Harun works as a Backend Developer, focusing on maintaining both custom-built and CMS-based websites. His journey at Human Digital started with maintaining projects, and has since progressed to working on a Commercetools CMS project. What excites him the most about his role is troubleshooting and resolving issues and bugs that are inevitable — an aspect of software development that he finds challenging but rewarding.

What I appreciate the most about Human Digital is the incredible team. The people here are not just colleagues; they’re supportive, dedicated, and create an atmosphere that feels more like a family than a company. It’s inspiring to be part of such a cohesive and motivated group.

Hobbies and interest

In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym—not anything professional, but to stay healthy and focused. With winter around the corner, I’m looking forward to hitting the slopes and skiing. There’s nothing quite like enjoying breathtaking views while skiing down a mountain.
